Pedro Perazzo, 37, was born in Bahia, Brazil. As a professional screenwriter, he worked with Walter Salles and Sérgio Machado on the drama series Irmãos Freitas (HBOMax). He also wrote the TV series Jungle Pilot (Universal TV) and the second season of Impuros (Star+). He's the screenwriter behind the movies Free Man (2017, dir.: Alvaro Furloni) and Booyah! (2021, in which he shares directing credits with Rodrigo Luna). Pedro collaborated on the screenplay for Alemão 2 (2021, dir.: José Eduardo Belmonte) and wrote and co-directed the short film Kid from Gamboa (2014), which has been screened in over 40 international film festivals worldwide.
